Default 99 ram 1500 transfer case help meee
I have a 99 ram 1500 the 4x4 engages but it jump in and out when it tryna to pop back in you can here the gears trying to engage so ya have to stop and take it out what can this be ?

You driving around in 4x4 on dry pavement? That is REALLY bad for your drivetrain.

Are we talking 4hi or 4lo? if you the t case in neutral by mistake while moving it will grind like a bitch trying to get back in gear.
