As for engine mods, start with fixing the plenum. While you are doing the plenum, install a double roller timing chain. After that get an SCT tuner, 1.7 rocker rollers and a less restrictive y pipe. At the same time, do a tune up (Plugs, wires, cap/rotor) These mods alone with wake the truck up.

By the way, I love your winch trans4mer brush guard. Been thinking of getting one myself.
I don't understand how it's a trans4mer brush guard lol. If your thinking about a winch get one, they're are crazy useful and saved my life one night. I thinkmy warn is almost as old as my truck and will still drag it ou of anything

Pretty sure that's the brand of brush guard you have. Your winch bolts to the brush guard correct? Only one brand make a brush guard that holds a winch for our trucks to my knowledge and its the warn trans4mer. I would love to have a winch. I'm sick of my buddy always rescuing me lol.

I want to say it's an old warn brush guard but I was a kid when it was put on, not sure what it is wish I knew who made my nerf bars since I've never seen double bends on anybody else's truck

I'm rocking 3.55s and 35.5" tires so I guess I'm just worried about losing anything because she already has enough trouble going. I never felt like my Trans am had a lack of power with a 112 lsa and 230/236 duration but it only weighed like 3300 or 3500 pounds this truck I know is around 6000

3.55s and 35's? Your trans is probably crying.

It has suffered relatively quietly for 4.5 or 5 years now

It will continue to suffer quietly, right up until it pukes.

Want some REAL power back? Regear. 4.56 would be good, if you don't do a lot of highway driving, 4.88 would definitely put a smile on your face.
