No start. Single loud click
The idea is to 'shock' the valve back into the correct position. That's why you hold pressure on the system when you crack open the bleeder. That should get the proportioning valve back in the right spot, to allow fluid to the rears.
The brake lite being on is the clue.

Started twice this morning.
Go out to start it again to bleed he brakes and just a click.
Pull belt after I try to start and I can hear another click from the starter.
So bad connections?

Ok after much crawling around, consulting Haynes manuals, and cussing. I think the wire going to the starer is faulty. Ignition on. No power to the starer. If you crank. Get about .03 volts. Something way too small.
When it was workin yesterday I crawled under and had 12.5 at starter. With ignition on. Didn't check while cranking.
Does this make sense?

There was no power on the fat wire. So I have pulled it and plan on replacing it. Someone has spliced it at some point??
No power to small wire at all.
I have checked every ground I can find and cleaned them all. Tested the relays, swapped them all around. They all checked out.
What gauge wire should I get?

Ah, ok. So, its either that connection there, or the cable is flaky. I don't think I have ever seen one failed.... unless it got stuck up against something that melted it. Stranger things have happened though.
Alright so I cleaned the hell out of everything again. I was able to much more thoroughly clean the fat wire to the starter with it off. And everything APPEARS to be working again. It was admittedly pretty dirty still after the first time. Now it's ALL shiny metal. And then some.
My brake pedal still sucks though. I did what you suggested HeyYou and I am getting more fluid to the rear. Got a lo of air out.
Pedal is pretty soft, but once you're to the floor or close to it it will throw you forward.
Driver side rear locked up once or twice.
Keep in mind this was all under 25mph and smashing the pedal.
