Default 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9 360 p0443

So I know this is somewhat a common code. My question is. I never had it pop up til this afternoon when I removed the purged solenoid and lighty (tapped) it on the fan shroud to get charcoal crystals out (which is normal I already replaced the canister) so I do it to avoid getting a check engine light. But when I finished boom!Check engine light code p0443 the 2 hose connectors are on and the electrical wire is connected. So any ideas?

Recheck the connector. That's whining about the control circuit.

I appreciate it I already did. So tomorrow first I'll disconnect it apply connector grease and if to no avail I'll just pick up a purge solenoid.

So update. Problem fixed. I wasn't able to get connector grease due to the local general store not having any (I live in the sticks) so I pretty much disconnected it cleaned up the purge solenoid and blew the connector out with compressed air and put it all together well-la no more check engine light.

I have another quick question. Interior related. Ihhave power locks and Windows plus the fob(remote) all factory. But only the driver door locks and unlocks. I can hear the motor working on the passenger side. Just wanted to know what should I look for inside the door panel to get it to work?

I think the little motors are actually part of the latch.. instead of being separate, and having a bit of a linkage. You are probably going to have to pull it apart, and see what's going on. Careful with the door panels. Get the right tool to pop those clips, otherwise, the tabs they fit in on the panel break, and it won't stay in place any longer.
