Truck almost killed me cruise stuck wide open

Recheck the cables. Make sure the TV cable is hooked up on both ends, and properly adjusted. (procedure in the service manual)

Make sure the throttle cable is routed properly as well, the cable goes under a little black feller on the throttle arm, and if it isn't there, you will have limited throttle travel. (should be kinda hard to push initially as well.)

If all that looks right, make sure the throttle shaft itself isn't broken/binding.

I'll check that but my throttle problems all happened after I unhooked the cruise cable before that it was fine.
