I have a 2001 dodge ram 1500 i just replaced the overdrive solenoid and the governor pressure sensor and solenoid but my truck stills start out in 3rd could the governor pressure sensor and solenoid be bad even tho its new or is there something else i need to do

 

Or another sensor could be sending an out of whack signal to the PCM. Getting any codes? TV cable hooked up right. Will it start out in 1st if you manually shift it.

 

Yes it does works just like the transmisson but not in drive
