Default Plenum Gasket

I'm gathering parts to do the aluminum plate plenum repair. One mechanic said to get the gasket from the dealer, that it's probably better. I already had the fel-pro one for 12.99. The 20.00 gasket from the dealer is all metal with a slight raised groove and really thin, the fel-pro is metal with some rubbery type material and thicker. Which one is better,or is it a horse a piece?

No idea what the dealer is using as I used the Hughes Kit. Felpro is a good choice.

I used the Felpro about a year or year and a half ago and it's still holding.

I have had great success with the Mopar gasket on other peoples motors, but I will be in the .0000000001% group that will say that, others will be Fel-Pro, either is better than the paper gasket.

I just used the gasket that came with the hughes kit. No issues a year later.

Think I'll go with the fel-pro, it just looks better. A paper thin all metal gasket just don't seem right, but I've read about other newer vehicles with metal to metal seals on heads and throttle bodies without leaking. Of course an all metal gasket won't have any material to deteriorate off the metal part of gasket.

Pretty much every time I've seen post about the plenum they end up with the fel-pro gaskets and I've yet to see a complaint
