Default Question about IAT sensor

First of all I have a 99 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L quad cab and I am wanting to unplug the IAT sensor connector to install a resistor that is suppose to increase performance and gas mileage, well that is what is claimed, so what the hell I thought I would try it but having problems locating the IAT sensor, so any of you could help point me in the right direction ? I will try to add photos of engine

Snake oil. It will do nothing for you. The IAT only really plays a role when the engine is in open loop. Once it achieves closed loop, O2 sensor will override any false info the IAT sensor is giving.

That said, it's on the intake, passenger side, toward the front. I *think* it's a two-wire connector..... but, don't quote me on that.

Yup, and the connector is also seen in pic4, behind the alternator, under the airbox.
