What Bulb Number For Fog Lights?
I am confused on which number my fog lights require, be it 896 or 9004, or what else? I replaced out my head lights some time ago with Xenon HID 9004's and am wanting to swap them out with similar plug and play Xenon HID's but I am getting mixed information on what kind my truck needs.
My truck is:
2000 Dodge RAM 1500 5.2L V8 RWD Non sport, just a Laramie SLT Standard Cab.

You shouldn't be using those bulbs unless you have projectors to focus the beam down on the road. You're going to cause an accident. Do it right. Put the 9004 halogen back in the reflectors till you get projectors. Just leave the stock headlights and fogs alone and add a set of 55watt projector fogs. That'll be more than enough output.
The HID bulb will melt the stock housing. The stock fog bulb size is 896, at 37.5 watts they serve no useful purpose other than cosmetic appeal.
