Default Multiple issues

So, my first issue, I'm guessing, is my thermostat. A few months ago I blew out my heater core. Worked fine, but now the pickup won't heat up past about 165. I get little or no heat again because of it. Just wanna make sure with you guys first before I do this.

Also, let it sit for a while, and she starts up, but will stall when stopping. Not when first running it, but after a few minutes, when I stop, it stalls. I thinking clean the throttle body and the aic(I think that's what it's called). Just asking you're guys opinions first. Also, links with pictures would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

I would start with cleaning the IAC ,you were close lol, and as far as the heat you gotta make sure you got all of the air out of the cooling system

Yeah haha. Will carb cleaner work? Also, what was done was it was parked on a hill, with the cap off the radiator and ran for a couple minutes. With the cap side being highest off the ground. Could it still be the thermostat though, seeing as it won't warm up.

It has also been running a tinge rich lately, unlike myself haha.

Could be the thermostat stuck open or an air pocket within the cooling system, assuming that you replaced the heater core with a new one and refilled the cooling system. With the motor running colder than normal, that will also affect the way the truck runs, too. I'd install a quality 195 degree thermostat and gasket, ensure the cooling system is full and try it again.

If your engine won't heat up it will keep dupming gas into it trying to warm It up. I bet your mpg is worse then normal

I didn't replace it, I just flushed it out with water and 60 psi of air. It was real nasty, and I don't think I got it all the way either, but I was finally getting heat at the time. Now I don't, ever . Imma try burping it again. See what she does, but if not then ill try the thermostat. In a school parking lot.

It's not that much worse, but I haven't driven it that much. Don't wanna mess my engine up. I can get most anywhere with my ol New Yorker, which doesn't wanna start today. It's an enigma to me. Starts at 45 below, wont now that its about 10 above, which is why imma do all this to my pickup this week.
