ac wont blow cold air.
blowers good
had freon checked,leaks check,etc
all of a sudden....ac keeps poppin a 10 amp fuse ?

anybody had this prob ?

 

Which fuse?

There are two separate circuits to make the A/C work.

 

Compresor going bad.

 

10 amp under the hood box

 

Ok, that's the circuit that actually powers the A/C clutch. (as opposed to the control circuit) Unplug the compressor, replace the fuse, turn on the A/C, see if it still pops the fuse.

If it does, pull the A/C relay, and try again.

See if you can figger out which part of the circuit has the short.

diagnostic repairs by a shop.....holy smokes $$$$

 

Yeah, we started out at minimum two hours for electrical problems...... in this day and age, that gets expensive QUICK!
