Default NEW DODGE OWNER! Need help!

I just bought a 99 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 6" suspension lift and a 3" body lift. Now for the real question... I'm looking at putting some XD Rockstars on (18x9), but the wheels I have now are 12" wide and have a big lip. I also am running 35/12.50/15 tires. So the question is, would the Rockstars be too close to the body? Right now my wheels stick out a pretty good amount and I like it. And also, would I be able to run 35/12.50/18 tires with the Rockstars?
Thanks guys!

Moving this to the correct forum for ya.

What's the back spacing on your current wheels, and the rockstars?

I'm honestly not sure about my current wheels... I do know the backspacing of the Rockstars is 5.

the 9" XD wheels will not stick out there nearly as much as thoes 12's do, and are just slightly more offset than stock, with my 98 i had 12's witch pushed the tires out there even with the outside of the large pocker style fender flares, now i have some 9" XD's on there and they are inside the flare quite a bit with the same size tire, witch i hate that look, just a small factory style flare would probably cover the tire, i have been thinking about running a 1.5" or so spacer to push them out there where the 12's were because i also have tire contact now at full steer on my long arms...
