I'll get some pictures posted of it later on this afternoon or first thing in the morning and show you what I'm talking about.

Cool

Here's the pictures I promised for that bolt that I was talking about on top of the control arm. It looks to wide once I take the upper control arm off for that bolt to fit through the bushing. How will I press them out.

The cross-bar that the control arm pivots on should just lift up, and then you will have to jockey it around to get the whole control arm out.

Once it's on the bench, take the nuts off the ends of the pivot bar, then.... get to figger out how it comes apart.

It *looks* like the bushings are just held in place by the nuts on the ends.... you can bet they are going to be hanging on pretty tight though..... Give it a shot, see what happens.

Finally getting back at it today. I'm trying to finish up the steering gearbox. I'm attaching the hoses to the gear box would you guys use Teflon tape on the ends or not? My old gear box was completely worn out before and after!

I ended up contacting redheads. And they advised me not to use Teflon tape on the in the fittings going into the gearbox. They said there could be a chance of it contaminating the gearbox.
