Default Tail lights

What is the bottom bulb used for on the 98s? Is that the brakes? Because main lights and blinker is on the top one. I can't get my brake lights to work. Can anyone provide all the electrical wires and what's what? Also backup lights won't turn on but the park neutral safety switch works fine and doesn't let me start unless in park or neutral. Thankyou

I would check that brake light switch.

Download the FSM for your year truck and the wiring diagrams will be in there. That should help you trace all of your wiring.
