slight but noticeable ticking sound

Default slight but noticeable ticking sound

the sound only happens under light acceleration and goes away once i give it more gas. i thought maybe a u joint but i got under it and checked and they are solid. very little play in the rear end. anyway! thats another topic. anyone have any ideas? hoping this isnt the beginning of the end of my transmission

That may be your sound. It can sound a LOT like a lifter tick.

yeah it sounds and smells like its coming from around the front of the passenger door. look under, cat converter...yay...200 bucks later.
