I am having some difficulty getting my parking brake to release all the cable. I can engage it and it will work, but go to disengage it, the pedal comes up half way. I have to use vice grips to pull the cable back through or the ball end will pop out of the mechanism. Do I need to replace all three cables? I have tightened it as far as it will go. Is there a certain cable I should replace to tighten it up? Thanks

 

Yes all cables have some stretch to them. Find the cable that is binding up and replace it.
