you can get them at randys ring and pinion


does anyone know where I can get all the torque specs and spacing I will need its not in the Haynes repair manual

Do they also carry them for Dana 44 front axle?

If you have the tools and skills to change your 9.25 gears, you can change the D44 gears as well. Only additional tool you need is a case spreader which you can get for ~$200 and a pair of setup bearings you can make yourself in less than a half hour. Total cost for additional tools will be far less than labor charges. Change the drivers side axle seal as long as you have the diff. out, it has to come out anyway to change it, and you're already there.

hmmm I guess I will!! I would say I am mechanicaly inclined I have built a few motors and trannys why not a few diffs!! the only thing I am worried about is not gearing up enough!

I put 4.56s in my 96' ex cab 5.2 auto with 34s but wish i would have went with 4.88s so when i go to 37s it will still be good !

How would 4.88s and 35s do though? I wanna go 4.56s with my 35s but now that I read your comment, I might rethink that.

4.56 with 35's would keep the engine RPM basically where it was with stock size tires, and the 3.55 gears.

4.88s with 35's would raise engine RPM some, putting it more into it's power band sooner. If most of your driving is around town, towing/hauling, it would be a nice power boost. Of course, the flip side is, worse fuel economy on the freeway.
