Get a gauge with a long enough hose that you can leave it hooked up, and lay it somewhere you can see it while driving. (or, better yet, where someone ELSE can see it while you are driving.....) See what pressure is doing at steady state cruise. (I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't falling off...... but, need to test first, THEN replace parts. )

well i aint got around to going to autozone yet, but i was looking at my fuse box and noticed that i didnt have a fuse in my abs pump. i took the one out of my lights just to do a quick check and noticed that after putting the fuse in my abs light and brake light comes on and stays on. Think it could be connected to the problem.

Alright, quick update. I went out to autozone and of course, the problem was happening all the way there. But on the way back i cruised 50 without a single problem, so apparently it picks and choose when it wants to wig out!! I got the fuel pressure test just aint had a chance to use it yet.(decided to start snowing on me!) But the guy at autozone told m that it sounded like an ignition control module. Then i took it to o'reillys to do a check engine test and it came back o2 sensor(clogged cat, already knew that) and a internal temperature sensor thingimabob!!!! But Ive been getting that code for almost a year know, didnt think it was a big deal. The guy there told me it sounded like the transfer case was trying to lock up but couldnt. Apparently there supposed to lock up to cut down on drag or something.(He didnt really sound like he knew what he was talking about though.) Thats how he put it. So what do you think. Ill check the fuel pressure first thing in the morning.

well i tested the pressure at idle and at 60, The gauge held a solid 38psi. So you got any more ideas or an input on the above ideas? Although it has started to die on me, pulling in and out of my driveway.

Yep, yep. But i do have another question. Since I tested the wire/connector that plugs into the TPS,(instead of the sensor it self) does that mean that the wire/connector is bad and not the actual sensor? Because i was pricing them and napa has the TPS for 30 and the connector/wires for 22. Just trying to figure out what needs fixed. Since i know the connector aint putting out enough juice, its kinda pointless to test it while its plugged in by moving the throttle back and forth aint it?
