A little off topic...but an option for a working truck.
I had a leak that shut down my AC system. I did not want to spend the money on an AC system repair SO I modified my AC to work as an on board Air comressor.
Toggle switch in the cab let me activate the electric clutch. An air drier and oiler on the input of the compressor mounted on the fenderwell worked like a charm. The output to a pony tank uner the bed gave me a resivoir to work with.
Voila! I had an inexpensive portable gas powered air compressor whenever I needed air. I use it all the time! The output coupler was just behind the grill.
