Default possible 1995 ram big block swap

My cousin is thinking about being generous an going to swap a bb 400 c.i. into my 1995 SLT 2wd. It currently has a 318 now. My question is I already know I'll need a new trans, possible driveshaft an rear end. Is there anything that might not work with this swap?

What's the purpose of this swap? Are you thinking that you are making more power with the 400 motor? Unless substantial mods are done to the 400 motor (higher compression, camshaft change, etc.), you may make less power, as the 400 was a low compression motor that was introduced during the gas crunch. If you can find a 5.9 motor, it will be an easier swap and you will certainly make more power than the 5.2 offers. Here is more info on the 400 motor:
