Default Bad shaking at 60plus.

So I have a 99 dodge ram 1500. 4x4 extended cab. I've had this problem before but normally at higher speeds so i figured the truck just didn't like it. Well the speed max that I can go is a little over 62 before the truck starts going crazy. I replaced a sway bar link a week ago to get rid of a rumble at 30-45mph. Wondering if this is death wobble or would dw occur at all speeds? Also never been able to get the truck over 70mph before having some front end vibration. The vibration though is not through the steering wheel but cab. Thanks for the help.

I'd check for signs of anything being loose that shouldn't be. Are your wheels/tires balanced?

Could indeed be some form of death wobble, but the 4x4 guys will have to chime in on that.

Front tires brand new and balanced. Have also had this problem with my summer tire set so I'm pretty sure it's not a tire issue. Winter set is on right now. The trac bar and brushing look good i pulled on a lot of stuff to figure out the sway bar link was making the popping noise

Possible signs of u-joints maybe? Also try tie rods end and ball joints. Could even be bearings maybe?
