Default PCV Grommet on passenger side VC

So, I failed terribly on the "low mileage" used motor choice and decided to do it the right way with rebuilding the old engine. Everything is assembled and waiting for the wind to die down. The only problem I am having is replacing the PCV valve grommet on my passenger side valve cover. Everyone seems to carry one, but the listed (and the previously used) PCV valve doesn't come close to fitting the opening size. After 30 minutes of explaining to my least favorite autozone employee, and physically showing her, that the NAPA, Autozone and Advanced listed part is way to big, I'm here. Anyone have the same problem or a fix?

Go to your nearest dealer and ask for part number 53030017. Should run around 4.25 or so

Dan, thanks for the info. Do you also have the part number handy for the PCV valve used on the 5.9 magnum engines for the 2nd gen trucks?

5175352AA the combo should run around 13 dollars or so. Autozone valves don't flow correctly and same with advance. Napa's are okay but finicky once they get a film through them. I'm running a napa one on mine though currently if that tells you anything

Dan, thanks for the part numbers - very helpful.

One last question - the PCV rubber grommet - does this PCV grommet (53030017) also work with the MOPAR Performance cast aluminum valve covers, too?

I'm not sure on that. I don't see why it wouldn't though
