Default 9.25 carriers

ok I am re gearing my truck 99 1500 to 4.11 and it is open. I want to put a posi or limited slip in her. My question is are all 9.25 carriers the same can I use one from any year?

Should be looking for 94-00 years according to randy's ring & pinion.

98-2001 durango's had a 9.25 rear axle too ! And most 4x4's had a trac lok unit !

When I regear to either 4.56s or 4.88s, I'm getting the Detroit Tru Trac posi unit off of summit too. Heard they were a good unit and street friendly.
