Hello everybody, I am new here I bought a 2001 2500 Cummins 6 speed 4x4 xcab long bed last year, only gave $3700.00 for it and absolutely love this truck!!!!!!! Although it is absolutely eaten alive with rust, which is actually no real big problem in of itself because I go down south fairly regularly for rust free parts and am in the process of getting a real nice '99 cab off of a two wheel drive automatic dually and plan to do the old switch a roo. would welcome any and all insight and opinions of what I may have trouble with that I may not be considering. Thanx guys

I think there was a thread recently in the second gen section on just such a swap. Not exactly a minor undertaking. Should be pretty straightforward though. Just time consuming.

2 or 4 wheel ABS?

Its an interesting system. So far as I am concerned, the 2 wheel system is pretty much useless.
