Default 2000 Dodge Ram - High Beams won't cancel/turn off!

I have a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500. I am having an electrical issue and not even sure where to start looking. My high beams will not cancel. The low beam lights switch but the high beams stay on after I turn them on. The only way to get them to turn off is to turn the headlight switch off then back on. Also my right low beam is very dim. I tried replacing the bulb but it made no difference. I tried checking the fuses but none are bad and pulling the fuse for the right low beam doesnt even turn it off. If anyone could tell me where to start looking that would be great. Thanks!

You have a two, or four bulb system? (basically, is your truck a sport model?)

Wonder if you have a sticking relay.....

Grab the 01 service manual from the Service manual thread in the faq section. have a look at the wiring diagrams. That should at least tell you where power can potentially 'stick'.

Might try swapping the headlight relay, with the horn relay for a quick, easy, test.
