Default ignition control

Ok guys 2001 dodge ram 1500 here with a problem starting the truck. Ok so that red wire that goes from the black ignition box on the steering wheel has been broke for some time. My step dad fixed it when it first happened and was his truck but now its happened again and the connector isn't the right one so it won't stay in place and the wire is just long enough so any little movement knocked it loose. Well now I cant get it connected at all so im not sure what to do. Is there anywhere I can get the correct end connector that goes into the black harness or what ?

Between my two jobs i haven't been home since this afternoon so no pictures yet but if it helps im looking for the wiring harness that goes from the ignition switch box to what I can only assume is the fuse box. The read wire on the far right is the one that is the issue hopefully i will have a picture soon

Aren't those just spade connectors? Should be able to get them at any shop that has electronic parts.

Im thinking the same thing but the way they are designed from the factor is more of a square shape and it has a spot to be caught by a locking clip so it stays in the harness when I use a regular spade connector I cant get it to actually stay in place

Well I was able to use a spade connector sfter I did a little shaping so that it fit in the harness and had no problem sliding over the connection but it worked none the less
