Default '94 v6 to 360 swap 2wd

I have a friend that has a a bunch of dodge parts from all the trucks he's owned all the years, including a 360 and possibly a trans a rear end. Can someone give me a definite list of parts I'll need? I'm sure he has everything, he even may have a junk 1500 sitting somewhere we could use to rob it all out of if we need anything more. Any help would be appreciated. I'm looking to make a hot rod out of my ol 94 I got from my uncle, 2wd with the v6 setup just doesnt cut it where I live. I plan on doing a diy paint job since its all peeling off too, and might give it a ram air look on the hood. I'll be doing all the work myself.

Motor, wiring harness, pcm, trans from same year truck. Will need the flexplate from a 360 as well. Wont need a different rear end.

Thats all I know off the top of my head, hopefully others who have done the swap will comment.

Trans from same year truck? What's with the need for that? I'm sure he has all that stuff and most likely has the trans from the same truck that the motor came from.

94-96 46rh, 96+ 46RE IIRC. COuld be a little off on the years. Ones electronic controlled ones not, and theyre not interchangeable. There is a difference, hopefully someone can explain that better then me lol.

Johnn123 is pretty much spot on.

94-95 are OBDI, 96-97 are *sorta* OBDII, in 98 and up, LOTS of stuff changed. You can 'upgrade' the OBDI stuff to the *sorta* OBDII stuff, but, the 98 and up stuff will also require you to change the dash, and get the central timer module as well. Nothing really changed on the inside of the truck.

OK thanks for the info. I'm waiting to hear back from the guy, he'll let me know what he has. He trashed an old 1500 like mine and I might be able to just rip all the stuff out of that truck. Yay or nay on the Dana 60 if I can find one?

D60 is going to be 8 lug. So, unless you want to change all the front end parts as well, I wouldn't worry about it.
