Default Lower ball joint nut

well, i got the thing apart, the only thing stopping me is the lower ball joint nut just spins the spindle. I tried resting the weight of the truck on the steering knuckle with a jack, still spins. Loaded down with wd-40. Still spinning. The only thing I can think of is to cut it off, but i aint got a cutter. I would hate to have to put it all back together just to take it to a shop and get charged 300 bucks. any ideas?

Try soaking it with some PB-Blaster, Kroil or a mix of acetone/transmission fluid. Using WD-40 is like using almost nothing at all. After that's soaked in, if you have a good impact wrench along with a impact universal and socket, that will help to remove it, too. As a last option, put some heat onto the bolt with a torch to help loosen it up. Try to get it red and use some candle wax on the threads, then loosen it quickly.

If the tierod is not pulled, try that and let the knuckle hit the backside. Usually only works on install though. Otherwise go buy a sawzall. Cheaper then a shop rate. But good blades(Bosch/Milwaukee). Get both a descent sawzall and 4" angle grinder with blades/discs for under $100. Electric are cheap for both.
