Truck shaking starting at 60MPH
I have a 1998 Ram 1500 that runs great until i hit about 60 MPH then it starts to shake, i replaced the track bar thinking it would fix the problem which it helped because the bar was bad, the truck has new balljoints, wheel bearings, and new front u joints, i could use some help thanks!!
Have you checked the tie rod ends? I'd also consider having the tire balance re-checked, as the bad roads are great for causing wheel weights to pop off the rims.
Is the shaking you are experiencing akin to death wobble?

Check your rear end fluids, transfer case fluids, and front end fluids. Mine shook like crazy at 60MPH and 70MPH, Turned out my transfer case output shaft exploded due to a bad snap ring.
Also check your fan and driveline. They will really shake these trucks.. but it will damage whatever its connected to REALLY quick

Jack up each fron tire and see if there is any play with yours hands at 9and 3. And 12 and 6.
Also do u have front stabilizers since they hide tie rod issues as I learned.
Also warped rotors if there is a shake when braking as well

Shocks... if your front shocks are done, the wheel will start to hop at ~60mph, and come good over ~65mph.
The worse the shocks are the worse the hop.
Let go it wears a flat spot on the tyre, putting it out of balance... then even if you replace the shocks, you will still get a little hop at ~60mph due to the flat spot (that balancing doesn't fix).
And over time, the hop will wear out your shocks, so don't let it go.
With time, if you avoid sitting on 60mph, the flat spot will lessen and become less of an issue.
[edit] typically the passanger side shock goes first as it sees more pothole/shoulder action... therefore the vertical hop on one side only can seem like a lateral shake in the steering.

does the shaking go away if you speed up???
generally speaking,if you have a driveline vibration,it gets worse the faster you go...but...if its tire related,it will shake at a certain speed, then clear up at another speed..
