Question Is the fly wheel from a 98 ram pickup 318 the same as 02 318 from ram van ?

I recently put a 02 ram van 1500 318 in my 98 ram pickup 4x4 and found that the crank sensor was cracked. It got me wondering if the fly wheel was the same or do I have to change the fly wheel so that the new crank position sensor will read properly. I hope it is the same because the engine is all bolted in already.Any advice would be appreciated.

Pretty sure they are exactly the same. Crank sensors tend to suffer during engine/trans swaps though. Not unusual from them to be destroyed if they are still in place during the swap.

thank u for quick response. not sure when or how it was destroyed but this makes my life easier. Still have a few things to do but didn't want to go too far if I needed to swap flywheel.
