Default Truck stalling from reverse to drive.

Okay maybe you guys could help me out. Sometimes when in reverse and I switch to drive the truck will stutter and stall out. Sometimes it'll catch itself but it usually stalls. Now the truck doesn't do it all the time. What could be causing this. Its a 98 ram 2500 thanks.

Check and clean the throttle body first, pay special attention to the bore the IAC goes in to. (remove the IAC motor to clean in there, and be sure to reset the PCM after you put it back together.)

I definitely suggest cleaning the IAC. I use to have this same exact problem. Took out the Idle Air Control (IAC), took a cotton swab, sprayed down the cotton swab with some brake cleaner and cleaned up inside that thing. I also did new sparkplugs, but I haven't had the problem since.

Check for codes. Mine did that when the torque converter electrics went out.
