Awesome, thanks Twmays!! I just got home with a new ECT sensor (it's a 2 wire), but it is too dark to give it a try. If the seller was honest, and the engine was swapped...then the second broken sensor makes sense on the intake, the reason I can't find another connector for it. Like HeyYou said, just to plug the leak. I hope this is it, I love the truck so far!

Well, the ECT sensor made the gauge work right again! Thanks guys, I was just a little worries when I saw the second one. Now if I could just get more power....

If you haven't yet, reset the PCM. (just disconnect the battery for 10 minutes.) Let it relearn how to run the engine since it is now getting proper temp readings.

I tried for 20 minutes to get a pic for you without taking crap apart, but never got a good angle before it started to rain.

Here's a picture of a 98+ intake like what your truck came with from the factory that uses only one sensor. Where it is circled is where a second sensor would go if it was a 97 or older truck.

if you want to verify you have a 360,your numbers are cast on driver side of block,just next to the starter,will say 5302006...
