I'm considering picking up a set of Edelbrock 61779 heads for use on a 408 motor I'm planning to build for my truck. Please share any experiences you have encountered when using these heads on a Dodge magnum short block.
What about a pair of these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-EQ-IRON-RAM-DODGE-318-360-MAGNUM-OHV-CYLINDER-HEAD-/171187672867?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27db949723&vxp=mtr. Quite a bit cheaper.
I'm aware of them, however, I have a line on a pair of Edelbrocks, hence the question. Besides, I like the aspect of well made aluminum alloy heads and a cast iron bottom end if I can acquire the parts reasonably.
