Hm, my caliper mount was also 12 point. Everything else I removed was either 6 point, or torx (caliper bolts).

Gary - Good call on that, I hadn't really thought about it. It did sit for about 5 years prior to me buying it - that damned gravity!!!

Interesting. My caliper mounting bolts are 6 point for sure. Perhaps, they changed those to 12 point in later years of the 2nd gen RAMs.

My caliper bolts are definietly six point. The hub knuckle bolts were 12 point

I dunno dudes! All I know is my 2500 caliper mounting bolts are 100% 12 point, haha. I'll see if I can snag a pic over lunch. Strange that 96 and 01 would be 6 point, and 00 would be 12 point. Unless someone replaced mine sometime in the past (doubtful). I suppose it doesn't really matter in the end, anyway.
