Hey guys just bought a 94 dodge ram 2500 v10. The man I bought it off said he had it stolen on him and they ended up cracking the ignition switch. So I replaced the switch and lock cylinder. It started fine before but now it wont turn over. I can turn the key ahead and everything has power but it wont turn over. I am able to start it using the remote starter and by crossing a screw driver across the wires on the starting motor. I checked all the fuses and they work. I had the starting motor rebuilt and replace the neutral safety switch still wont turn over using the key. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't related to the alarm. After all, since it was stolen, the probably had to bypass it.... see if you can find the little box, find the make/model number, and look it up online.

I don't think it has an alarm system. But I'll look under the dash.

 

The remote starter. Don't think the 94's came with that from the factory.
