it was a dodge garage repair.......when i bought the truck. had the truck couple days, drove it to atlanta,(from pensacola) 2 qts low. put 2 qts in it. got home from atlanta, 2 qts low.....drove it to the dealership where i got it, dropped it at the service dept.......they called and told me it would $800 to fix it......i told them where to stick the truck........then they came back and said they would do a 50/50 with me.........$400 my cost...again i told them where they could stick the truck))))) i left it there, the bank called cause i didnt make any payments....told them when the dealership fixed the truck i would make em.....i have a lawyer friend, who let me use his name on the bottom of 3 letters, 1 to dealership, 1 to bank, 1 to chrysler........didnt hear anything from any of em for 2 months.......dealership called and said truck is repaired)))) bank called too. i told them i needed a letter that the repair would stop the oil burning they agreed i picked up the truck and drove it bout 3 miles from the dealership to home. i get out and smell ANTI-FREEZE!!!!! this is how dealerships do repairs. next day iam back at the dealership, asked them WHY..... when they had the intake off.......they didnt replace the $3.00 BY-PASS HOSE............which THEY NEED TO DO TODAY!!!!! after that i never had a problem with the truck)))))) bout a year later i replaced the water pump(from NAPA)cost a little more, but you only want to replace that pump ONCE))))))oh and i replaced the BY-PASS HOSE...AGAIN)))))
