Default Oil in manifold after plenum fix??

Busted my Knuckles doing a plenum fix with a expensive metal impregnated gasket, proper aftermarket bolts, ETC. I drive this thing as careful as i can.. I STILL use oil and oil is in the manifold. I took my PCV apart today to find the hose and inside of it is full of oil.. Its not stuck, But i know its not supposed to drip oil when i take it out..

Did my gasket blow again, Or is my PCV worn out?

Did you replace the PCV when you did the plenum work? If not just go ahead and replace it, often dealer replacement is the best, it's not too expensive either.

Even with a properly functioning PCV it will put some oil in the intake.

I have a catch-can, and it collects about a teaspoon of oil per week with a new factory PCV.

my first guess would be the pvc.

verify that your valve cover opposite the PVC has a proper vent line. if it does, it will pull in fresh air from one side and suck it into the plenum, and you'll have sort of normal pressure inside the crankcase. but if the opposite vent is plugged up, then you'll get some stronger negative pressure and suck more oily air into through the PVC.

as a test, you could temporarily replace the PVC/hose with a vent/hose only hanging down into the fender well. older cars were like this, it'll vent but won't suck the oily air out.

i don't know how you'd clean the inside of your intake. maybe spray some brake cleaner down in there to dilute and evaporate the oil. maybe swab it out with a rag on a stick. my luck the rag would fall off.
