Default flex plate question for a 95 ram 4 wheel drive 46RH transmission

Have flex plate from a '97 360, will it work on a '95 318? Will a 318 to a 360 be a direct slot? if not what will i need?

I don't think it will work, as the 1997 5.9 flex plate should have weights welded to it to balance the externally balanced 5.9 engine. You will need a flex plate without weights for a 5.2. Also, check to ensure that there are no weights on the torque converter.

AtomicDog is correct a stock 5.9 flex plate will not work on a 5.2 engine. You can drill out the welds and take the weights off.
