Default Swapped in used heads...Which rockers/pushrods do I use?

I have installed fresh heads off a used 5.2 onto my 5.9. No worries there at all. Same casting, checked for cracks and vac, flat as can be and already installed.

I don't know which rockers and pushrods to use. the 5.9 rods are matched to the lifters, the 5.9 rockers are not matched to the valves. vs the 5.2 rods not matched to the lifters but the 5.2 rockers are matched to the valves.

Of course when I say matched I mean a wear pattern corresponds to a wear pattern.

Which would you use and why?

I would use whatever shows the least amount of wear (feel free to mix and match) and run them. Worked for me when I swapped a used set of heads onto a 5.9 not long ago.

Oops - sorry - I didn't see the poll. Well, I voted and went for the 1st option, which is what I'm calling the original mix and match option :-)

So the 5.9 & 5.2 valve train assemblies interchange for what years? That's pretty useful information-Thank You

I'm no expert but I play one from time to time on the internet...I suspect the Magnum 5.2 and 5.9 engines share identical heads. There may be an R/T big valve, different rocker ratio ??? head out there somewhere.
