While driving there is a loud popping sound coming from the front end, gets louder with speed sounds like maybe coming from the 4 wheel drive shifter, i can see and feel the knocking on the shifter, when driving when putting it in 2wd or 4wd still does it, need a little help here trying to figure this out!!!

thanks for your reply it was the u joint for the 4wd on the drive shaft by the transmission, now running better and sounds better
