Default jumping AC?

98 ram 1500 318 4x4

So I tried charging the AC system BUT, was wondering how to jump the AC compressor to help the freon get in quicker?

Just let the compressor cycle naturally. It will suck it out of the can, and it will go quicker the more that gets in there.

When it's low, it will won't run at all, until minimum pressure is reached, then, it will cycle on/off quickly, till the system starts getting close to full. Eventually, at idle, the compressor will run continuously.
