Axle is centered side to side by the trackbar, and yes, it will move over a little bit, but, not enough to be worth worrying about. New lower arms would be to correct caster.

2" is perfectly safe. 3" is as well. When you go over 3" lift, you need to start addressing other issues.

Think of your truck's frame as a see-saw, and the rear axle as the pivot point. Try to picture it; if you just lift the front, as the front goes up the rear will go down just a little.

At one time I put a 1.5" spacer on the front springs, and I measured the height of the rear hitch before and after. After adding the 1.5" spacer lift the hitch came down a little bit; I put a 3/8" spacer above the rear block (bolted to the spring pack) to bring it back up about an inch or so (measured at the hitch). Later I removed the front spring spacer (and rear spacer) and put in a pair of Skyjacker 2" coils and a 2" lift long-leaf add-a-leaf.

Most people do just use the 2" spacers in the front to level the front with the back. If you don't want spacers, then try a set of 3/4 ton diesel springs up front. I think that's about a 1.5"-2" difference in height from regular 1500 springs. It'll atleast get you a lot closer to having the truck level and will allow for 33" tires or maybe slightly bigger.

Just wanted to update everyone and say thanks for the input. I went with the Bilstein 5100's a Skyjacker 2" coil. It rides like a dream now. Doesn't look lifted much, it did level it (which is what it was supposed to do) it was just weird for me to add suspension to a truck just to make it level. i would upload a few pics but I'm not sure how to on here. Anyways thanks again for all your input

I wish I had gone with the Bilstein 5100's on my truck when I put the Skyjacker 2" coils up front instead of the Rough Country cheap shocks. This isn't a dig against the Rough Country shocks; it's just that I put a set of Bilstein 5100's on my Jeep and I can tell a difference.

Yeah once i put them on my bud's Chevy i knew i wanted them and i am not disappointed. its a little stiff compared to his because of the 2" coils so the little stuff is still rough-ish but the big things like speed bumps driveways etc are way nicer.
