Default 96 Ram 1500 Sport 5.9L Radiator hissing

My radiator has been hissing for the last 2 weeks and since its warmer out my temp gauge shows its getting hotter then I'm comfortable with. I've replaced the radiator cap, thermostat (Now a fail-safe), got it a coolant flush about 2 months ago. I have to replace the gasket under my airbox again (stupid things break so easy, this will be the 3rd one). I do have an oil leak I believe, about 1x every 2 weeks I have to add a little oil to it since low oil levels can make vehicles overheat along with low tranny fluid (Which I have to replace my transmission lines also that lead to my radiator)

Any ideas on why its hissing when the truck is turned off? I dont have coolant leaks, obviously its an air leak but its not coming from where my airbox gasket it. Its coming from my radiator, at the front of my truck.

Replaced Emissions hose (Cracked) and Crankcase Breather. Hissing is less then it was and I have a little more power but it is still hissing, not sure where to check next.

Have you checked your upper and lower rad hoses very carefully? Right after any vehicle is turned off, the pressure inside the cooling system is at it's highest point due to the coolant still being very hot and not circulating in the system. This is often when leaks are most apparent. You also need to closely check the plastic to metal seams on the sides of the radiator as these are a known weak point.

As for your oil leak, you need to check the plenum thread at the top of the forum if you haven't fixed that already. Low trans fluid will not cause the engine to overheat - the transmission will tho. These trucks are very sensitive when it comes to the trans so you need to get that straight asap...delete the check valve in the trans line by the radiator while you're at it.
