Default putting a 2000 Durango drive shaft pinion yoke on a 98 ram?

I just did my rear pinion seal because it blew up, drove it around and now the seal is leaking again. I'm thinking there's a groove worn in the yoke. Would I have able to put the pinion yoke off the Durango with the 9.25 rear onto my truck with the 9.25 rear? Also should I replace the seal again?thanks

Definitely need to see why it is still leaking.... Did you inspect the yoke when you had it off?

Not sure if they would swap, but, sure seems reasonable. (does not necessarily imply they actually will though. )

I wasn't looking but I do think that it felt grooved and looked it. Can't look at it now cause she's in the shop for bodywork, some b*tch on her cell phone rear ended me, and the way back from getting the estimate the seal blew, taking it up there today it started slightly leaking again. Only think I'm concerned about is the if the u joint will fit in the yoke

Just looked at the yoke on the Durango, two different yoke styles. Open and closed book
