For $7,829 you could have one, nothing like a nitrogen generator .....lol
That price is a little high. I can get a new 60 gallon Ingersoll-Rand nitrogen generator for $5900 shipped to my door.

I've had to refinish 3 sets of aluminum rims already because they were so horridly oxidized that the bead wouldn't seal anymore. To me, it would be worth it to not have to do that. Granted, some of that decay is from road salt...but not all of it.

I don't see the point for the average person to fill their tires with it either. But people like me, who are really picky about the condition of things like rims would benefit from it. Also...if you are going to race your vehicle, it's much easier to keep equal tire pressure in both or all 4 tires...depending on your setup.

And as far as the filling your tires in an emergency, you could always deflate the tire and refill it with air. Or you could get a small can of nitrogen for your trunk, or large tank for your garage at home. Or you could mix air with the nitrogen. Ambient air is already 78% nitrogen. The nitrogen that a generator puts out is 90 to 95% nitrogen.

Friend of mine runs nitrogen in his cafe racer motorcycle. I like to check mine before every ride, so I don't bother, mainly because I have a sportbike and want to make sure that when I'm scapping my pegs, I have the correct tire pressure. [sm=yikesomg.gif]

Okay, I have a question about using E85 fuel in actual FFV mopars. Can it just be used to fill the tank if it is done one time without any problems? For the record, I am asking for my parents' Caravan with a 3.3L FFV engine and not my 3.5 powered Intrepid (I know the 3.5 is not a FFV engine).

If it is a true FFV which I knwo chrysler has in some vehicles, you should be able to run the E85 all the time. That is the purpose of it being a FFV.

I've been using 60-70% E85 on my 2nd gen ram for a couple of months now.. As E85 is 5,1 USD and regular fuel is 7,8USD. A lot of people around here has run E85 on regular cars for years without problems.. A few of them has replaced worn out fuel pumps.

Not a good idea. You and the others are going to run into problems down the road. Trust me. That's what happened with Ethanol fuel back in the 1970's.
