The 94 will have EGR on it, so, I would just swap the intake, and passenger side exhaust manifold, and call it good. Everything will hook right up. No problems. (use the sensors off of your original engine. Remove the crank sensor BEFORE you remove the motor, they are frequently victims of motor/trans swaps.)

well would it be a problem that I ordered new headers for my 98? will they still work on that motor? and couldn't I just block off that EGR or would I have to change intakes? thanks your a big help because im swapping this motor tomorrow and I just thought of if there was any differences. better late then never tho hahaha

Headers would be fine.

Blocking off EGR would work as well, but, then you have an intake that most likely has a blown plenum gasket in any event. (common on these trucks, almost universal.... poor design) Also, by putting your intake on the 'new' motor, you get all the sensors your PCM is used to. (I don't know if values/connectors changed over the years....) Just need to swap cam and crank sensors, and you are set.
