Default Pcm ?

Do all stock pcm's have rev limit ? I got one with my truck when i bought it and the guy told me it was a tuned pcm so yesterday i plugged it up and it works but has no rev limit ? Does that mean it is tuned if it doesn't have limit ?

a factory pcm should have one, doesn't mean it's tuned, just means that was removed (some less than reputable places do that and call it a tune)

Even with a tune, a limit on max rpm (higher than stock) would be better than self destruct.

I was told by previous owner that the 360 in it had a bigger cam and inj's than stock so he had the pcm tuned to give it more power but he said it burned alot less gas with the stock pcm !
