Unhappy HELP!!!! 1996 5.9L 2WD 1500 problems :-(

Scenario I: Truck starts. Idles perfectly and if continuing to idle for ~ 3-4 minutes (once operating temp is reached), it falls dead like you've turned the key off.

Scenario II: Truck starts. Idles perfectly and after warming up and actually driving (once operating temp is reached), it falls dead @ 55-70mph lol like you've turned the key off.

Before the infamous numerous sensor replacement recommendations occur, I've replaced all of them lol: MAP sensor, IAC sensor, TPS, Crankshaft Position, Camshaft Position (pickup assembly), distributor rotor, plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, coil, coolant temperature, new alternator, new battery, ASD relay, fuel pump relay, manifold ambient temp sensor, coolant temp sensor, ignition switch, ignition switch assembly, cleaned throttle body THOROUGHLY, purge valve. Fuel pump has ~ 15-20K miles on it, if that.

I'm ----> . I really love the truck and want to keep it forever.

All that's left is the PCM.

Unhappy

I bought a used PCM off of a 1996 4x4 sport w/ 5.9L. But I noticed there was a difference in the serial information. What is a "T1666?" Mine is the T1426 guy. Are they different considering the 4x4 is just that and mine is a 2 wheel drive?

Probably different programming. The 96 PCM doesn't care about 4x4 or not. It doesn't have a clue how many drive wheels you have. Plug it in, give it a shot.

I bought a remanuf CARDONE PCM from O'Reilly and it didn't work. The one from the wrecked dodge didn't work well either. And now, the truck will not crank w/ any of the 3 PCMs. The original, one from the wrecked dodge, and the remanuf one. No spark. No nothing.

Won't crank, or won't fire?

What's missing? Spark, or fuel?
