I couldn't find a general info thread about this, but I've seen it mentioned. Mainly b/c someone has rust and they are looking to replace with used doors.

I recall there is a difference b/t Club and Quad Cab, moreover across years...?

For example, in the 00BE parts manual, there is Club and Quad Cab doors shown.

Club cab ==> 2wd

Quad cab ==> 4wd



Now, do the doors of a standard cab (same year) work on a club/quad cab?

 

it isn't the number of drive wheels that make the difference, it is the number of doors available. All doors off of two-door pickups will swap, the two-door doors are different from the four-door doors, and will not swap. There also seem to be minor differences in wiring harnesses over the years, as the 97 harness wouldn't work in my 96 truck.... swap the harness, (in which everything looked exactly the same....) and everything worked.

 

Ack...I made my mind see 2dr and 4dr = drive axles... lol




So I meant to type:

Club Cab = 2 DOOR (standard)

Quad Cab = 4 DOORS

For some reason I thought Club Cab was still 4 doors but was prior to 98 or something. Meaning the half doors didn't open up?
