Default brake system

So my brakes went out driving around. Master cylinder was full. So I changed the brakes and calipers on the front. Bleed the front brakes and got a hard petal. Went to take it for a spin and got a soft petal.. now what? Master cylinder should be good due to the fact I got a hard petal. Right?

did you bleed the master before installing? Could be booster issue. Try bleeding again (I like to gravity bleed first then use the pedal)

Didn't bleed the master. Never had to bleed the master before... Gravity bleed was how I did it. No bubbles or air. Hard petal til I started it up. ABS n brake lights were off but came back on again..

*just* gravity bleeding won't get all the air out of the system.

when that happened to me, i needed new brake lines and a new brake booster. does your brake booster make a noise when you step on the brake?

Brake lines are all new. No noise from the booster. And I checked the line to the booster to make sure there was air flow.
